Open Hatch

My coach decided to fill up her Tahoe with items she didn’t need. VCR’s, clothes, pots, etc. and donate them to Goodwill.

For anyone that knows PB, there’s a horrible intersection (Mt. Soledad and Balboa) that’s always crowded. So the light turns green and lo and behold, her hatch flies open, eagerly jettisoning the majority of her cargo right onto Balboa. Utterly embarrassed, she pulls over , gets out and looks upon her items scattered upon the boulevard and just beyond that, stopped traffic 10-20 cars deep. The people, young and old, begin to almost simultaneously emerge from their cars and immediately start to grab all of their items and place them in a large pile on the side of the street. She was particularly amused by a nursery school aged boy carrying at least 5 of her old bras. In what seemed like just a few minutes all of her belongings were neatly place on the sidewalk, some even re-folded and people were getting back in their cars. Issue handled.

 tight :)

does goodwill unknowingly attract goodwill?
